Fingernail fungus is a highly transmittable disease. One must keep nails clean and dry to avoid infection. • You can take anti fungal medication like Diflucan and Lamisil for few months. But it has some serious side effects such as acidity, rashes on skin, headache and it is also heavy for liver. By taking medication it will cure infection temporarily but once you stop taking dose it may reoccur.
• Topical treatments, cream or cleanser may help you to cure fungus but topical treatment alone is not so much useful to cure fungus.
• By applying essential oils like olive and lavender may help to cure fungus. You can also go for disinfectant herbs like Neem which is mostly found in India.
• Soaking the fungus area in the solution containing Epsom salt is also useful remedy.
